Hilton Garden Inn Lake Forest Mettawa

We had a work event at the Hilton Garden and Kelly Jernigan and her team did an outstanding job! Our Conference room was clean and comfortable. Our daily lunches were delicious! Thank you Kelly for an outstanding experience!

Pleasant quiet hotel considering how many people were there. Really clean gym! Polite help!

Nikki is a fabulous waitress! She is friendly and on top of everything during breakfast! The people who were there the last two mornings of my stay were much to be desired! Overall, I had a great stay with mostly friendly and welcoming staff! The beds are a little less than ideal, but you can’t please everybody. I love the easy access to the interstate and surrounding areas!

So my daughter is 7 yrs old, we get a small bowl of cereal thats part of the continental breakfast spread . I figured since my daughter would only have cereal that I'd have a yogurt n such, basically split a continental breakfast. I go to pay my tab, I see my daughters cereal was marked up as $8 "kids meal" a separate charge from the "continental breakfast". To the HGI breakfast hostess lady, was that necessary? Aside from this breakfast experience, the other staff and bartender are very friendly and attentive, rooms are very clean as is the indoor pool my daughter enjoys. We stay here often and will continue to do so, but a bowl of cereal might have to be reconsidered here moving forward.

No bars or restaurants really within walking distance. They have a tiny bar at the hotel, but smaller than a bar you would have at your house. Friendly staff, clean, and otherwise a pleasant stay.

Barb at the front desk was extremely pleasant and made the stay so enjoyable. She was always present and smiling. She deserves recognition and a raise! Room was clean, all amenities easily accessible and food was delicious. Will stay again when in the area.

This hotel was great! We came for our Sons graduation from Navy bootcamp. The location is 15 - 20 minutes from the base. Very easy to get to the base. Very safe. Very clean. We rented two rooms and our Sailor stayed over night with us one night with his Brother. Both rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly. Our rooms were very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is right off the interstate in a quiet office plaza like area with plenty of parking. Everything was VERY clean and was a reasonable price for rooms. They have the pantry/refrigerated food options at the desk. Dinner food service is limited during the week but full service dinner Fri/Sat evenings I think. Food was good, we just got some burgers. All the staff was friendly and inviting and Nikki especially (breakfast staff) was so nice and helpful. There’s an indoor pool with a small hot tub available, we did not use but looked nice. Now for the room!!! I’m the type of person that wants the room spotless because obviously none of us want to stay in an unclean room. And no joke, I’m pulling the bed apart and looking at the sheets, mattress cover, mattress, even under the bed and furniture for cleanliness. I often find at hotels that housekeeping skips cleaning behind and under furniture. This hotel must have exceptional housekeeping staff because their rooms are perfectly clean! I was very pleased!
